The Milken Archive Oral History Project includes interviews with composers, cantors, musicians, actors, scholars, and public figures whose work has shaped the development of various Jewish musical traditions in America. Among the topics explored are the development of the cantorate over the course of the 20th century, the history and reperoire of early American Yiddish theater (including radio, vaudeville, and film), and the world of Jewish art music.

This collection will continue to grow with new video interviews, transcripts and metadata.
